Istanbul Cup 2006

Sony Ericsson WTA Tour is among the greatest tennis organizations and Istanbul Cup 2006, which will be held between May 20 and 27, is one of the 63 tournaments on the Sony Ericsson WTA. This year attendance of four out of twenty best tennis players of the world is expected.
The tournament will begin with the elimination matches played for the benefit of Turk Eğitim Vakfı - TEV (Turkish Education Foundation) on May 20th and 21st. The first and second qualifying rounds will be played on May 22nd-24th. Quarterfinal is on 25th, semi-final is on 26th and the final is on 27th.

This year the show matches of WTA Istanbul Cup will be held at Kız Kulesi (Maiden's Tower -Leander's Tower) along with the Bosphorus Bridge. Service toss contest from Kız Kulesi to Salacak is also among the activities.

The tournament is at Tekstil Arena, Esenler and the tickets can be purchased through Tickettürk. The price is between 18 and 200 YTL.
