There are buses from Üçkuyular Bus Station in İzmir to Çeşme every hour..They take the highway so it takes less than one hour to arrive in Çeşme..There will be three stops in Çeşme :First Alaçatı, then Ilıca and then the central bus station at the centrum..You will jump off where your hotel will be..
Alaçatı, Ilıca, Dalyan, Tursite ( 1.5 k.m. south of Çeşme Harbour ), Central Çarşı are must see spots and involve the restaurants, bars and beach clubs..
Where to swim : Paparazzi Beach Club, Ilıca Public Beach, Seaside Beach Club, Tursite are my recommendations..For ones who love shallow sea and warm water Ilıca Public Beach is preferrable and iti is charge free..For the ones who love cold water and deep blue sea then Tursite is a must..I will mention others below..
Where to eat:Fish may be eaten at the restaurants by the sea in Dalyan spot..Certainly bargain before meal and I recommend you to eat "barbun" fish..There is a special hot sandwich in Çeşme called " Kumru " and it is best done in buffets in Ilıca..There are also Pide-Kebap Restaurants in the central çarşı ( where all carpet, jewellery and etc shops are located both on the left and right ) and they are preferrable..Taste the boilt corn here also which is sold in small mobile cars..
Where to stay:Altınyunus is the best hotel after Sheraton in Çeşme and it is the oldest..Both Altınyunus and Sheraton are in Ilıca and they are quite expensive..There is Ladin Hotel in Dalyan which is less cost and may be preferrable and there are many pensions and small hotels in the centrum..To avoid advertisement and misunderstandings it must be in your consideration to choose :))Reservation is a must at the weekends both for the hotels and the pensions especially if there is a concert at the Çeşme Theater ( tomorrow and the day after Tarkan will be there.. )..
Bars and entertainment:
Paparazzi:It is a beach club, restaurant and a bar..It is one of the oldests..It is high quality and a bit high society..İzmir's well known families' children prefer here..During the day, you may come here to swim..At the entrance during the day, a waiter or waitress will meet you and may ask for your credit card to open an account..Trust them..After this, you put your towel on the green grass behind the bar and enjoy the sun through the trees or directly walk between the tables and enjoy the beach..They will serve you whatever you want as your account will be opened..Try vodka-watermellon..Sausage on plate may be eaten..Noon service ends about 19:30-20:00 and preparations for the bar to serve at night will start..Bar may be preferrable between hours 22:00-24:00..Music is quality..
Seaside Beach Club:It has a capacity to host over 5.000 people..It a well-known beach club in Alaçatı and you pay cash at the entrance..It is very very crowded at the weekends..There are buffets within where you may eat and drink but take into consideration the queue..I myself only enjoy seaside at nights..After 24:00 it is the best disco - bar of the spot..For the entrance (as it is impossible to stay there all day ) you again have to pay but with the entrance receipt, one glass of native drink is free ( rakı-beer)..There may be anykind of people so girls must be ready to meet anykind of proposals but there is nothing to be afraid of as if you don't want tell it politely and it is over..
Mekan:It is a small bar and age average is 20 and you can walk there
walking through the tables and the steps within Paparazzi ( maybe this year they have their own entrance, as I didn't visit there this year I don't know..It is only bar..You may at least look around as you are in Paparazzi and may leave if it isn't enjoyable..No entrance fee..It is free..

There are a bit more of bars (especially underground bars passing Tursite ) but I described you the best..Before arriving Paparazzi there is also Barcelona Beach Club which may also be preferrable..

There is also a go-card area at Alaçatı by the exit of highway and it is quite enjoyable to race there..As far as I remember you pay 10.000.000 T.L. for ten minutes..

My recommendation for an ordinary day:
After breakfast Tursite to swim b.w. hours 10:30 - 12:30..Then lunch..Paparazzi to swim and eat (like Romans) b.w. hours 14:00 - 18:30..Dinner at Dalyan..Paparazzi again for the bar or another bar at Ilıca this time b.w. hours 22:00-24:00..And Seaside is a must after 24:00..

By the way I was at Paris the last two days and found a chance to visit the famous cemetary Pere-Lache..La fontaine, Yılmaz Güney, Jim Morrison and many others sent their greetings to you..:)))
